The Patriots play Super Bowl XLIX at University of Phoenix Stadium against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, February 1 at 6:30 PM. Thanks for coming along for the ride.  It's been an entertaining season. Avast, me Hearties!   Hide your MILFs.   Be doing yer job.    With the exception of maybe the 2007 team, this is the most talented Patriots team of the last 10 years.  And unlike the last time this team was in the Super Bowl, they appear to be relatively healthy.  I really hope they can cash one in. Some or all of these guys will need to have big games on Sunday for the Patriots to win: 1) Tom Brady 2) Julian Edelman 3) Rob Gronkowski (and if Seattle sells out to take Edelman and Gronkowski away, Blount, LaFell and Amendola (gulp) will need to step up) 4) Darrelle Revis and 5) Chandler Jones / Rob Ninkovich. The Patriots play the AFC Championship Game at Gillette against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday January 18th and 6:40 PM Are the Colts a tough match-up?  Of course they are.  I'm not overlooking them at all. BUT (big butt?) ... I'd be lying if I said the Ravens didn't scare me a whole bunch more than these Colts.  So I'm glad that one is behind us. The Patriots play their fourteenth game of the year at Gillette Stadium against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday December 14th at 1:00 PM. This is it, guys.  The last stretch of games before the playoffs. Also... No more late night games.  Which is good for older fans like me.  Waking up on a Monday morning after a late game is awful .  Oh, how I love you, 1 PM games! The Patriots play their thirteenth game of the year at Qualcomm Stadium against the San Diego Chargers on Sunday December 7th at 8:30 PM. Late Game, everyone.  Try to take a nap on Sunday afternoon if you can.  Unless you live on the West Coast.  I assume you people already sleep 12 hours a day. The Patriots play their eleventh game of the year at Gillette Stadium against the Detroit Lions on Sunday November 23 at 1:00 PM. Thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Western New York. Short week for Patriots this week.  Which means I've got to crank out a column on virtually no rest.  Exhausting. The Patriots play their sixth game of the year at The Ralph against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, October 12 at 1:00 PM. Whoa... The Patriots barely  beat Oakland last week.  Yes.  Oakland.  I can't remember the last time a win felt that bad.  That was ugly.  Yuck. The defense looks... decent.  Not the great defense we thought it would be going into the season.  But decent.  The offense... Yikes. The Patriots play their second game of the year at TCF Bank Stadium against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday September 14th at 1:00 PM. Over the Summer, I was out one Friday night playing cards with my buddies ( shout out to Viking Dave ).
